Welcome to the people I’ve added to my flist thanks to the SMT friending meme. A bit of a depressing first post, but I need to get his of my chest. The last couple of days I have been really busy, writing reports for school and my internship, about ethics and all that stuff. Yesterday I wanted to play some SMT: IMAGINE, just to get my mind of the work and relax a bit. When I came online I was reminded how easy it is to lose contact with each other, without ever knowing what happened to someone. So for all the people on my flist who knew RedSonya and even for those who didn’t.

Later on I remembered something someone on LJ once asked me. “If someone you know over the internet disappears one day, will you miss that person, or won’t you even notice?” Internet bonds are fragile, if one person was too disappear, it would be hard/impossible to find him/her again. I mean Sonya lived in the same country as I did, perhaps even very close, but I would have never known that something happened to him, if his brother hadn’t shown up. I suppose it’s the reason I have a note with all my username’s and passwords lying around, so that if something were to ever happen, at least my parents/friends could make it known.

As much as it hurts, I’m glad Sonja’s brother searched for us and told us he passed away. Else people would have just forgotten, thought that he was tired of the game and quit without saying anything, which would have been far worse. I’m not looking forward to Sunday, most of Sonja’s friends are online then and I know I have to tell them, they have just as much a right to know what happened to him as I did.

So rest in peace Sonja, you were a great guy, always willing to help out, always enthusiastic, a good friend, I even remember planning to do stuff last Friday with you and the rest of the clan. You will be sorely missed.

My thoughts go out to your parents and your brother/siblings, who have lost you far to early.

So for those who didn't catch the good news yet. I seriously gasped when I saw the e-mail which was followed by me dancing trough my room, don't even want to know what my parents tought. It's quite the coincidence, I've spent the entire evening telling my boyfriend how much I wanted it to come stateside so I could import. I'm so stoked for this game :D

Also I can't be the only one who was amused to see the Atlus forums explode. I had to refresh for half an hour before I could read my faithful e-mail and the forum thread.

Apparently a boxed version of SMT: IMAGINE is coming out. Sorta makes me frown seeing as it is a free game, but hey you probably get x amount of AP with it so. Besides some extra publicity can't hurt.

Yay for having fever. The last couple of days I spend on my bed feeling nauseous and tired. Worst thing though was having to work on Saturday, but I couldn’t take the day off because we were having a sale of Micheal Jackson’s newest album. Lot’s of people told me to go see the doctor: “It might be swine flue.” Honestly people, not every mundane cold or fever immediately means someone has swine flue.

Now since I am bored and promised I would do this: ( The new content for the Aeria version of SMT:IMAGINE )

So I want to know, what sounds more appealing to you guys: go see a movie, have a nice dinner, or go out to a disco or something? *crawls back to bed*

The problem with LJ: We all think we are so close, but really we know nothing about one another. So I want you to ask me something you think you should know about me. Something that should be obvious, but you have no idea about. Ask away.

I actually received my certificate from school today, shocking here I thought it would never happen. It just took them two years to give it to me, which is almost as bad as taking 1,5 years to figure out that the administration registered me for the wrong study. I think they are officially scared of me now at the administration office, at the least they know who I am now.

Internship has been stressing me out big time. Take today for example, I needed to make 10 contracts in just the morning (had to go to school in the afternoon and they knew this). Normally I get a day to work on 5 of them D: Thankfully most of my colleagues are really nice and always make me laugh. Working full time is really different form going to school, I can’t wait till we get to the holiday season, which is when I will have to work 7 days a week. Free time, pff who needs it :(

Also Atlus, you’re free to announce Strange Journey for localization anytime. Everything I read about that game is only making me more stoked to play it.

Also school finally figured out I passed my first year, it only took them forever, seeing as I'm in my third year now. But I can go pick up my certificate, so yay!

My wireless internet has been hating on me, it only took me two months to get it fixed, but at least it works again.

I've been playing IMAGINE again after a long pause and it's still as addictive as ever. I really love the remixed SMT 1 music and the Ichigaya field music. I mostly play on channel 5 under the name Aletheya, so if you see me around say hi :D

Today the Queen will announce the financial future of this country.. I'm pessimistic about it, something tells me it won't be happy news.

Hoping that it will be SMT4, because that would be about time. Also Siliconera found this. Apparently this was found by a Japanese blogger, unfortunately that does not equal truth. So I'm still a bit skeptical.  Still, I am so EXCITED about this! :D

Finally finished Devil Survivor. Went with the Haru/Gin route since that seemed closest to neutral. The final day was pretty much one big boss rush and the final boss was a bitch, took me nearly an hour to beat. Now for the other endings and the bonus boss.

This is not good for business Australia. It will inadvertently bring around more piracy... and honestly, this is stupid. It's like saying only children play games. So when stuff isn't suitable for them, it isn't suitable for anyone *facepalm* I'm all for a rating system, but this is ridiculous.

We just had to wait four hours at the airport, due to technical difficulties my parents there suitcases (and those of all the other passengers) weren't showing up. At least they had a fun vacation, they had to squick me with a picture of one of there pets though, some kind of disgusting flying bug. I mean, what is that? *shudder* The environment they were in was rather nice, very relaxing.

So I just received an e-mail, that my copy of Devil Survivor will ship somewhere on the 29th of June, that probably means I will receive it somewhere in between the 4th and the 6th of July. The joys of getting video games in Europe. I uploaded the soundtrack, for the same friend I uploaded the Devil Summoner OST for. It's up on MediaFire,in two parts because MF hates files over 100 MB.
Also this might be the worst interview I've read in a long time. Way to act like a douche.

Devil Survivor OST: Part 1, Part 2.

I don't even know how, but I passed all of my exams :D Just two more presentations and closing down our student company and then it's vacation time!
But first picking up my parents from the airport, traffic here I come.

Summer vacation is nearly here and it can't come soon enough for me. Seems that our teachers decided that the most boring and annoying exams and projects had to be at the end of the year. My last exam is this friday, I'm pretty sure I'll fail it, since I've barely had the time to learn due to sickness but if I fail that one, I get another change the 29th, so I'll focus on that. The only real bad thing is the project we have to do, that will go on till the 10th of july *sigh*.

Today I probably won't be learning a lot either. I need to bring my parents to the airport who are right now stressing out over the amount of baggage they want to bring along. Driving them there isn't going to be fun though. Somehow I hurt my back while sleeping. Great job body, just great!

Also, I uploaded the Devil Summoner Hyper Rearrange Collection for a friend, so I might as well post it here. It has most of the tracks that were missing from the Raidou Kuzunoha OST's, such as the Akarana corridor music (which is a rearranged piece from the Soul Hackers OST), the song that's played when you're browsing through th case files, etc.

I've been watching the press conferences live and been trying to get my hands on as much news as possible, so I'm trying to put my thoughts straight here. Expect a lot of rambling after the cut.

Well that's it for now. Wow that was longer then I intended. I really needed to get all that rambling out of my system.

I have those days where I love working in retail and I have those days where I hate it with a passion. Yesterday was a mix between both amusing and irritating.

We received the Sims 3, fun times. But it can't be sold before upcoming thursday. Any copy sold before that will lead to a 50.000 euro fine. So people saw them coming from the boxes. Those people kept complaining that they wanted them now. One customer even decided that threatening us would work. The rest of the day was okay though. Noticed that a lot of people still don't know what a blu-ray player is *sigh*

E-plaza had it worse though, one kid decided to pee over the floor and his parents refused to clean up after him. It was the second time that had happened. I feel sorry for the poor guy who had to clean up XD

So I just heard that the Supreme Court of California decided to uphold Prop 8, banning same sex marriages. But you can legally marry a rock. But letting two people of the same sex get married, nope of course not. Honestly what the hell.

Finally received my package of Devil Summoner 2. Everybody told me how horrible TNT was when it came to somewhat bigger packages, but I had no problems. The cat's really happy with the Raiho plushie, I should really make a picture of them, it's so cute.

Has LJ been screwing up for anyone else? For the last couple of days it nearly always eats my comments before I can post them or the pages load really craptastically.

Imagine being told that you need to leave your house, because they want to build apartments there. You get a decent amount of money (more then you could get if you tried to sell it normally). But you did not want to leave, the house has after all been in your family for more then 50 years. Then 3 months after you have moved, they call you and tell you that you can buy your house back if you want, because of the economic crisis they didn't have the money to put up the apartments. At that point you don't have the money to move back and you have just grown accustomed to your new house.... well fuck you too.

In less ironic news, I'm getting really worried about my cat, he can't even seem to be capable of washing himself anymore. His mouth just hurts that much. Let's hope the vet can solve it. Positive thinking.

Also, some creepy guy just mailed me, telling me that he saw me at my work and that I was a nice looking girl. So he harassed my co-worker into giving him my name. Now he is asking me out and asking for my MSN and all that, not to mention that he knows I have a boyfriend but still asks if I think he's boyfriend material... way to make a first impression kid *shudders*

I've been replaying the first Raidou Kuzunoha game, with King Abaddon coming out and everything. I had nearly forgotten how quirky the character were. I just love Raidou and Gouto. I still adore Narumi as well, he just hits all of my buttons. I can't wait for King Abaddon and the plushie that comes with it :D

Really it started out like a great day. The sun was shining, a lot of people were putting up the national flag, getting to the market etc.
Then something like that happens, I saw it happen live on tv with a couple of friends, I really don't have any words for it.

To get rid of the bad taste in our mouth we went to a sauna/hot spring, try to soak it out, instead of going to Amsterdam. Definitely doing that again, there's something so very soothing about lying in warm water.

And some good news as well, the notary accepted me which means I don't have to look any further for work placement. It deals with a lot of law, so this should be fun :D

And the asshole I worked with at the store who was tossing out all those retarded remarks got fired. Apparently he stole over 200 euros from the store. Not a smart move, people always figure that out XD Oh well, he won't be missed.

Fingernails over a chalk board, the sound of children wailing and most of all mosquitoes buzzing around my ear while I'm trying to sleep.

I actually passed my exams, don't ask how, but I did pass them. Law and marketing were my saving graces against my terrible score on economics (which I still don't understand because I learned the most for that subject XD). Oh well, I'm not going to complain.

I'm not sure what to think of my new job, it's alright I suppose. one of my colleagues tends to be a bit annoying. Tossing out sexual tinted remarks like it's a new trend. He can be really nice though. There still isn't a lot to do. It's like I'm just staring at the door 3 out of 4 hours. Well can't expect too much from a new store.

The notary is making me nervous, he said that he'd call this week, but he still hasn't T_T  I really hope this will work out *crosses fingers*

Wow my application at the notary actually went well, he was really enthusiastic. He asked me if I could start 3 weeks before the 1st of september so he could teach me the ropes. That doesn't mean I have the job yet, he still needs to discuss it, but it's looking good.
Too bad I have the feeling I totally fucked up my exams, oh well can't have everything go right, but it would suck ><

Oh well, I can't worry on such a beautiful day, I'm glad the weather is looking up again.
